A party, reading and a Poetry Book Sale celebrating the first anniversary of the book Bowery Women: Poems will take place at the Bowery Poetry Club on Nov.11th . The book sale begins at 5:30 pm. It will feature poetry books, journals, and spoken-word and music CDs, including small press, rare and limited editions, by Bowery Women poets, as well as releases from Bowery Books, Cypher Books, Belladonna and more—from classic poems to erotic haiku to punk and hip hop-influenced works, the books and CDs will be bargain priced for holiday shoppers. The reading portion of the program, featuring new poems by Bowery Women, begins at 6:00. Reply |
